Evan Scott Monroe is a Brooklyn, New York–based brand that designs and produces all of its products in-house.

Using natural materials and all-natural in-house treatments, Evan Scott Monroe seeks to reinterpret historical American fashion styles through a contemporary lens. Each piece is produced in small batches by the brand’s in-house artisans.

Every item is carefully handmade, featuring signature finishing touches such as hand-sewn buttonholes, hand-stamped tags, homemade natural dyes, and other details crafted in-house.

Because of this handmade process, no two pieces are exactly alike.

Evan Scott Monroe places great importance on natural dyeing processes, ensuring that its materials are created with consideration for both the environment and the people who wear them. Some natural dyes, such as madder root, are also known for their potential anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

The brand also focuses on using natural fibers, creating garments that can be easily mended, worn for a long time, and biodegrade more naturally at the end of their life cycle.
