A hat from HORISAKI, handmade in their Swedish atelier from 100% rabbit fur felt.
It features a sculptural silhouette that combines a raised crown with a gently undulating brim. Natural indentations and irregularities form on the top of the crown, revealing different expressions depending on the viewing angle, be it front, side, or back.
The deep gray color, reminiscent of rock formations, enhances the soft texture and subtle variations in shade of the rabbit fur felt. Multiple layers of stitching on the brim add dimensionality to its gently wavy outline. The uneven coloring and slight distortions create a serene, aged appearance.
This piece, while based on the structure of a classic hat, is finished with HORISAKI's unique organic form. By adjusting the brim's direction and the crown's shape, the impression can be altered, lending a distinctive presence even to simple outfits.
