HORISAKI

HORISAKI is a Swedish hat brand founded by Makoto Horisaki and Karin Horisaki.

Based on a farm surrounded by nature in Småland, southern Sweden, the brand creates each hat by hand in its own atelier, with a deep respect for traditional millinery techniques and craftsmanship.

Bringing together Japanese and Swedish heritage, HORISAKI draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape—both serene and untamed—as well as the passage of time and traditional techniques.

Through experimental treatments influenced by natural elements, patination, and carefully selected materials, the brand develops earthy, nuanced colours and textures, giving each hat a sense of history and its own distinctive character.

Its aesthetic is both raw and refined, celebrating material textures, the appearance of wear, and the beauty of imperfection.
