26FW Collection
ENTROTERRA
"ENTROTERRA" draws inspiration from the rural landscapes and entrenched traditions of inland Puglia, Italy.
The aged character of the land, with its stones, earth, plants, dry grasslands, and weathered architecture, is expressed through the textures of the materials and the deep hues achieved by hand-dyeing.
This collection is where Heritage, passed down from the past, and a Raw Contemporary Spirit, unbound by existing values, coexist.
The 26FW color palette is comprised of natural tones reminiscent of Puglia's earth and plants, stones, dry grasslands, and the light of dusk, resulting in a subdued, calm earth-tone palette.
Onyx - A deep, obsidian-like black. Expresses the hard presence of stones and minerals, along with modern sophistication.
Brand Introduction
tagliovivo
The brand name, "Tagliovivo," meaning "raw cut," accurately expresses the brand's identity: a luxurious yet rough aesthetic. The brand is characterized by the combination of vegetable-tanned, raw leather and metal.
Tagliovivo bags are natural.
By "natural," we mean that the designer's philosophy is to leave scars on the leather as they are, accepting the marks that were once part of the animal. These come from a respect for animals. Such scarred, raw leather reminds the designer of nature. He wants to create bags that are as close to nature as possible. Each piece is hand-cut with consideration for which part of the hide will provide durability and how it can be transformed into a beautiful bag that will stand the test of time.
Another distinctive feature is the metal.
Many buckle rings use wrought iron chains made in the mid-to-late 19th century. These were used in Italy to hang teapots over fireplaces, and the designer was captivated the moment he first saw them, wanting to incorporate them into his bags. In addition to iron, he also began to incorporate aluminum. To create a contrast between the raw leather and the shining metal, he created round, laser-cut handles. These are produced by artisans in a long-established workshop in Italy, passed down through three generations.
