ENTROTERRA

"ENTROTERRA" is inspired by the rural landscapes that stretch across the inland regions of Puglia, Italy, and the traditions rooted there.

The collection expresses the aged appearance of the land — stones, soil, plants, dry grasslands, weathered buildings — through material textures and the rich, deep colors achieved by hand-dyeing.

A collection where Heritage inherited from the past and a Raw Contemporary Spirit unfettered by existing values coexist.

The 26FW color palette is composed of natural colors reminiscent of the Puglian land, plants, stones, dry grasslands, and the light of dusk, resulting in a muted, calm, earthy palette.

Black - A black reminiscent of deep shadows and stone architecture. A quiet yet powerful base color that tightens the world of ENTROTERRA.

Brand Introduction

The brand name "Tagliovivo," meaning "cut raw," accurately expresses the brand's identity: a luxurious yet rough aesthetic. The combination of vegetable-tanned raw leather and metal is a hallmark of this brand.

Tagliovivo's bags are natural.

Here, "natural" refers to the designer's philosophy of making bags that retain the natural marks and scars on the leather, embracing the imperfections that were once part of the animals. These designs stem from a deep respect for animals. Such raw leather, with its visible marks, reminds the designer of nature. He aims to create bags that are as close to nature as possible. Each piece is hand-cut, with careful consideration given to which part of the leather will offer the most durability and result in a beautiful bag that can be used across generations.

Another distinctive feature is the metal components.

Many buckle rings use wrought iron chains made in the mid-to-late 19th century. These were originally used in Italy to hang teapots over fireplaces, and the designer was instantly captivated by them upon first sight, deciding to incorporate them into his bags. In addition to iron, he has also begun to use aluminum. To create a contrast between the rough leather and the shining metal, he designed round, laser-cut handles. These are crafted by artisans in a historic Italian workshop that has been operating for three generations.
