ENTROTERRA

"ENTROTERRA" is inspired by the rural landscapes of inland Puglia, Italy, and the traditions rooted there.

The collection expresses the changing face of the land over time – stones, earth, plants, dry grasslands, weathered buildings – through the textures of materials and the rich, deep colors achieved through hand-dyeing.

It is a collection where heritage passed down from the past coexists with a raw contemporary spirit unbound by existing values.

The 26FW color palette is composed of natural colors reminiscent of the land and plants of Puglia, stones, dry grasslands, and the light of dusk, resulting in a subdued, calm earth-tone palette.

Mud - A color reminiscent of soil itself, whose appearance changes with rain and time. It is one of the colors that most directly symbolizes the theme of "earth" in ENTROTERRA.

Brand Introduction

tagliovivo

The brand name "Tagliovivo," meaning "raw cut," accurately expresses the identity of this brand, which is luxurious yet rough in appearance. The combination of vegetable-tanned rough leather and metal is a hallmark of this brand.

Tagliovivo's bags are natural.

Natural, in this context, means that the bags are made while retaining the scratches on the leather, reflecting the designer's philosophy of accepting the imperfections that were once part of the animals. These are born from a respect for animals. Such rough leather with scratches reminds the designer of nature. He aims to create bags that are as close to nature as possible. Each piece is cut by hand, considering which part of the leather will be most durable and result in a beautiful bag that can be used across generations.

Another distinctive feature is the metal.

Many buckle rings use wrought iron chains made in the mid to late 19th century. These were used in Italy to hang teapots over fireplaces, and the designer was captivated the moment he first saw them, wanting to incorporate them into his bags. In addition to such iron, aluminum materials have also begun to be incorporated. To create a contrast between rough leather and gleaming metal, circular handles cut with a laser were created. These are produced by artisans in a long-established workshop in Italy that has been in business for three generations.
