26FW Collection

ENTROTERRA

"ENTROTERRA" is inspired by the rural landscapes that spread through the inland of Puglia, Italy, and the traditions rooted there.

The aging expressions of the land, such as stones, soil, plants, dry grasslands, and weathered architecture, are expressed through the texture of the materials and the deep colors created by hand-dyeing.

This collection is where heritage inherited from the past and a raw contemporary spirit, unconstrained by existing values, coexist.

The 26FW color palette is composed of natural colors reminiscent of the Puglian soil, plants, stones, dry grasslands, and the light of dusk, resulting in a subdued, calm, earthy color palette.

Laurel - A tranquil green reminiscent of Mediterranean plants and laurel trees. It symbolizes the vitality of plants remaining in the dry earth.

Brand Introduction

tagliovivo

The brand name "Tagliovivo," meaning "raw cut," accurately expresses the identity of this brand, which presents a luxurious yet rough look. The combination of vegetable-tanned rough leather and metal is a characteristic of this brand.

Tagliovivo's bags are natural.

Here, natural means that the bags are made while keeping the scratches on the leather as they are, reflecting the designer's philosophy of accepting the scratches that were once part of the animals. These arise from respect for animals. Such rough leather with scratches reminds the designer of nature. He wants to create bags that are as close to nature as possible. Each piece is hand-cut, considering which part to use for durability and how to create a beautiful bag that can be used across generations.

Another distinctive feature is the metal.

Many buckle rings use wrought iron chains made in the mid to late 19th century. These were used to hang teapots over fireplaces in Italy, and the designer was instantly attracted to them the moment he saw them and wanted to incorporate them into bags. In addition to iron, aluminum materials have also begun to be incorporated. To create a contrast between rough leather and shining metal, circular handles cut with a laser were created. These are produced by artisans in a long-established workshop in Italy that has been around for three generations.
