While working in the fashion industry as a buyer, the designer was unable to find the jewelry he wanted, so he began making jewelry on his own. He started DETAJ in 1995. His creative approach begins with a dialogue with the material, and he creates a unique texture by making the most of the characteristics of the metal and repeating a lot of trial and error. His inspiration is always in the everyday, born from the sense of sharing time and the distortion of the atmosphere. He does not like flashy decoration, and all of his forms are handmade in his own atelier, inspired by structural and functional beauty. He aims to create things that appeal to people's inner selves from a personal perspective, regardless of gender.
