CHIAHUNG SU
A brand by Taiwanese designer Chia-Hung Su.
After earning an MA in Fashion Design Technology from London College of Fashion, he established his eponymous label in 2020.
Based on the beauty found in imperfection and transience, akin to the Japanese aesthetic concepts of "Wabi-Sabi" and "Mono no Aware," the brand creates unisex clothing centered on tailoring, using hand-woven fabrics from Taiwan's indigenous Atayal tribe, natural plant-dyed materials, and vintage fabrics.
With "Cultural Historical Sustainability" as its philosophy, the brand continues to create works that connect tradition and modernity, culture and craft.
Each piece embodies a deep story, born from the time and effort invested in its material, dyeing, and tailoring.
