This CHIAHUNG SU hand-dyed dress is crafted from an organic cotton-based fabric made in Japan.
Its impressive layered strap construction and raw-edge finish highlight the fabric's movement and overlaps as a design element.
The floral pattern floating on a soft ecru base combines simplicity with a quiet tension, giving it a unique presence within its light material feel. The sculptural silhouette allows the fabric to drape around the body rather than cling to it, adding to its allure.
CHIAHUNG SU SS26
― This collection merges handicrafts rooted in East Asian indigenous cultures with contemporary silhouettes. Using materials imbued with the memory of land and time, such as linen grown in Taiwan, fabrics hand-woven by Japanese artisans, and wild silk dyed and hand-painted using traditional techniques, it elevates them into a quiet and profound presence. This season delicately expresses the coexistence with nature, the preservation of culture, and the subtle beauty of craft as modern clothing.

Brand Introduction
CHIAHUNG SU
A brand by Taiwanese designer Chia-Hung Su.
After earning his MA in Fashion Design Technology at the London College of Fashion, he established his namesake label in 2020.
Based on the beauty found in imperfection and transience, similar to the Japanese aesthetics of "wabi-sabi" and "mono no aware," the brand creates unisex clothing with tailoring as its foundation, utilizing hand-woven fabrics from Taiwan's indigenous Atayal people, natural plant-dyed materials, and vintage fabrics.
With the philosophy of "Cultural Historical Sustainability," the brand continues to create designs that connect tradition and modernity, culture and craft.
Each piece breathes a deep story, where no effort is spared in terms of materials, dyeing, and tailoring.
