Brand Introduction

DETAJ

The designer began creating jewelry independently after being unable to find the jewelry he envisioned while working in fashion as a buyer. DETAJ was launched in 1995.

The approach to creation begins with a dialogue with the materials, maximizing the properties of metals and repeating many trials and errors to create a unique material feel. Inspiration is always found in daily life, emerging from shared moments and distortions in the atmosphere. Eschewing elaborate ornamentation, the forms, discovered through structure and functional beauty, are all handmade in their own atelier. The brand aims to create products that appeal to the inner self, transcending gender from a personal perspective.
