Brand Introduction
DETAJ
The designer started making jewelry by himself after not being able to find the jewelry he wanted while working in fashion as a buyer. DETAJ was launched in 1995.
The approach to creation begins with a dialogue with the materials, and by making the most of the properties of metals and repeating many trials and errors, a unique texture is created. Inspiration is always found in daily life, born from a shared sense of time and distortions in the atmosphere. Eschewing flamboyant ornamentation, the forms, born from structural and functional beauty, are all handmade in their own atelier. The aim is to create items from a personal perspective that appeal to the inner self, transcending gender.
