Brand introduction

EMATYTE is a handmade shoe brand with a workshop located on the outskirts of Florence, Italy. Designer and craftsman Gabriele Calvetti handles all the processes himself in small-batch production of shoes, which he calls "wearable sculptures" that combine traditional techniques with experimental design.
Carefully selected leather materials and unique dyeing and finishing techniques give each product a unique presence. We strive to create timeless shoes that combine artistry and craftsmanship.
