A one-of-a-kind handmade hat from HORISAKI's "ONE OF A KIND COLLECTION", made from 100% rabbit fur felt.
It features a compact black form with a gently overlapping crown and a wavy brim. The top of the crown is shaped with a central depression, creating a three-dimensional design whose silhouette changes depending on the viewing angle.
The brim is adorned with multiple rows of stitching, adding depth to its outline. The crown is irregularly embellished with small fabric parts and stitchwork that evokes repair marks. Radial embroidery and patches with raw edges create a unique appearance, as if the hat has been cherished for many years.
This piece incorporates the traces of handcraft, such as distortions, wrinkles, and seams, as part of the design, rather than aiming for a perfectly balanced finished product. Through burning and hand-dyeing processes, they create a profound appearance as if the hat has been cherished for many years. With their classic yet avant-garde forms, they exude a unique presence. They meticulously select materials such as rabbit fur, beaver felt, straw, and linen.
