The metal frames used in these bags are original antique parts that are up to 100 years old. The natural patina and subtle individual differences that have developed over the years are testament to the time and story each bag has.

The frame, keys, and other parts have been restored and adjusted so that they are still in usable condition, but they do not have the perfect precision or airtightness of modern industrial products. Please understand that these are individual differences and characteristics unique to antiques.

No two pieces are alike, and each one is unique, bearing the traces of the handiwork of artisans from the past.

Before They Pass Into Oblivion

The SS26 collection was born from the idea of shedding light on forgotten craftsmanship and materials, connecting the handiwork of the past with the present.

Using antique metal frames and time-honored materials found all over Europe, the bags are reconstructed to capture the stories and aging of each piece. The muted colors and organic forms create a world of tranquility and depth.

Each piece is proposed as something that can be used for a long time, as an antithesis to mass production.

MIRANDA KALOUDIS

A brand by Miranda Kaloudis, based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Building on a respect for the craftsmanship and traditional techniques of the past, the brand creates bags and leather goods reinterpreted in modern, minimalist forms, incorporating antique metal frames and time-honoured materials to give each piece its own unique story and presence.

All designs are created in our Zurich studio and then carefully finished in our Swiss and European workshops using carefully selected materials and artisanal craftsmanship.

The collection features organic forms, functionality, and a quiet beauty that never fades over time, and is proposed as a product that can be used and loved for a long time while being a part of everyday life.
