Selvedge jeans by p.r.patterson made from 50% nettle and 50% cotton.

The nettle-cotton blend fabric features a rich, multi-dimensional appearance created by its distinctive creasing and irregular tonal variations. Based on black, the material has a striking, well-worn look.

The unique pattern construction omits side seams, while the inner legs are sewn to showcase the fabric's selvedge.

The silhouette is roomy from the waist through the thighs and gently tapers toward the hems. Combined with the fabric's three-dimensional texture, it creates natural volume and a distinctive shape.

The front features a button fly. The back has large patch pockets, combining the practicality of workwear with the brand's unique pattern-making.

p.r.patterson is a fashion brand founded by New Zealand designer Phillip Robert Patterson.

After studying fashion at Central Saint Martins in London and gaining experience working with Lanvin, Carol Christian Poell, and Maurizio Altieri, he began pursuing his own approach to clothing.

Based in Glasgow, Scotland, he draws inspiration from the surrounding landscape, history, archaeology, and historic textiles.

He has a deep interest in every stage of the garment-making process, from pattern-making to sewing, fitting, and refinement, and creates clothing with a focus on precision, craftsmanship, and comfort. His designs express a quiet, understated aesthetic.
