This collection reinterprets the wild nature and quiet beauty of the southern coast, drawing inspiration from the light, colors, and textures of the Mediterranean, from a contemporary perspective.

It pursues sophistication born from not over-designing, respecting the natural expressions of rock faces, plants, and materials exposed to sea breezes.

Color Palette – Macchia Mediterranea

The color palette is derived from the plants, flowers, sky, wind, sea, and light and shadow of the Mediterranean coast.
Each color has a vibrant individuality, yet harmonizes beautifully as a single landscape.

Skylark - A light tone reminiscent of the Mediterranean sky under strong sunlight. Its transparency, imbued with wind and light, symbolizes the openness of summer.

Brand Introduction

The brand name [Tagliovivo], meaning "raw cut," accurately expresses the identity of this brand, which is luxurious yet has a rough look. The combination of vegetable-tanned rough leather and metal is a characteristic feature of this brand.

The bags created by Tagliovivo are natural.

“Natural” here means that the bags are made with the original scratches on the leather, reflecting the designer's philosophy of accepting the scars that were part of the animals. These are born out of respect for animals. Such rough leather with remaining scratches reminds the designer of nature. He wants to make bags that are as close to nature as possible. Each piece is hand-cut, considering which part to use for which component to ensure durability and to create a beautiful bag that can be used across generations.

Another distinctive feature is the metal.

Many buckle rings use wrought iron chains made in the mid-to-late 19th century. They were used in Italy to hang teapots over fireplaces, and the designer was instantly drawn to them the first time he saw them, wanting to incorporate them into his bags. In addition to such iron, aluminum materials have also begun to be incorporated. To create a contrast between rough leather and shining metal, he created round handles cut with a laser. These are crafted by artisans in a long-established workshop in Italy that has been passed down for three generations.
