The color palette is derived from the plants, flowers, sky, wind, sea, and light and shadow of the Mediterranean coast.
Each possesses a vivid individuality while harmoniously blending into a single beautiful landscape.

Brand Introduction

The brand name [Tagliovivo], meaning "raw cut," accurately reflects the identity of this brand, which presents a luxurious yet rough aesthetic. The brand's signature is the combination of vegetable-tanned raw leather and metal.

Tagliovivo's bags are natural.

Here, "natural" refers to the designer's philosophy of making bags that retain the natural marks on the leather, embracing the scars that were part of the animals. These designs stem from a respect for animals. Such raw leather with visible marks reminds the designer of nature. He aims to create bags that are as close to nature as possible. Each piece is cut by hand, considering which parts of the leather should be used for durability and to create beautiful bags that can be used across generations.

Another distinctive feature is the metal.

Many buckle rings use wrought iron chains made in the mid to late 19th century. These were used to hang teapots over fireplaces in Italy, and the designer was captivated the moment he first saw them, wanting to incorporate them into bags. In addition to such iron, aluminum materials have also begun to be incorporated. To create a contrast between the rough leather and shining metal, round handles were created using laser cutting. These are produced by the hands of artisans in an old workshop in Italy that has been in operation for three generations.
